WORLD EXPO 2025 JAPAN: COUNTRYMAN COLLECTIVE

Launch of sustainable fashion capsule Countryman Collective; custodian wear crafted through the remanufacture of Australian Army and Naval uniforms, tech equipment, marine debris (ghost nets), hand dyed remnant fabrics and natural fibres, and adorned with cultural materials and firework from North-East Arnhem Land. Made in collaboration with Lucy Simpson, Mayatili Marika and Leah Giblin highlighting the needs of Country and our Waterways for the First Nations Runway showcase at the Australian Pavilion with Indigenous Fashion Projects & support from the Buku-Larrnggay Mulka Centre.
